Al Inkishafi

By my understanding, it literally means "awakening". I first saw the phrase in a book on Arabic poetry where it was taken to mean "the awakening of the soul." Amazingly, I can't remember a single word from the poems in the book but the title stuck to my brain. Though I'm still skeptical about te existence of the soul, I still think that this phrase has immense application to life today. Everyday we learn new stuff and go through new experiences but we, for the best part, don't take into consideration how they fit into our life in the long run. This blog will also be an attempt to chronicle the various steps I've taken in life and trying to figure how they fit in the mantle of my existence.

Breaking in.

Read enough blogs and turned the thought over in my head for long enough. And now I've decided that its time I start my own. Hope you'll all bear with me if I fall short coz I'm really new to this. But criticisms and encouragements are welcome. I don't have a specific theme I want to write about so this will mainly be random ramblings and stuff about my life in Law School.(I'm hoping it will be interesting enough)
